The two Senate runoffs in Georgia give Democrats a chance to win the Senate. The importance of this isn’t lost on former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang. He isn’t just pledging to help the candidates, he’s actually moving to the Peach State to put his feet on the ground there.

Yang added, “We will be getting organized – but in the meantime if you have a room available in Georgia for volunteers post it here. We are going to fight it out in GA. Much more to come!”

No word on whether Yang will join forces with Stacey Abrams. The former gubernatorial candidate is credited with helping Georgia turn blue and she is now focusing her efforts on the Senate races as well. Today she remarked:

“We will have the investment and the resources that have never followed our runoffs in Georgia for Democrats … this is going to be the determining factor of whether we have access to health care and access to justice” in the US.”

The runoff is January 5th.
