Looks like Michael Cohen has a lot to say both in person and on tapes obtained by the FBI. The tapes are reportedly a secret recording of Trump and Cohen discussing payments to a former Playboy model who says she had an affair with Trump. Stormy Daniels attorney, Michael Avenatti, says there are a lot more tapes out there.

Avenatti and Cohen were foes, but over the last few months, after the FBI raided Cohen’s office, tensions seem to have eased a bit. Today Avenatti revealed they even talked in person earlier this week.

Cohen also had a long conversation with Reverend Al Sharpton.

Sharpton says they had breakfast this morning together and that Cohen reiterated his loyalty is to his family and his county. He went on to say he got the feeling that: “if there is, in fact, things that this President did he ought to be concerned because I think Michel Cohen has made it clear to me this morning that he is not going to be some sacrificial lamb for something that was done wrong here.”

He also said, “He very clearly said he is very disappointed in the President, how he’s turned out in terms of attacking the media, that he wanted me to know that he was going to do what was right for the country, that he’s a patriot.”

Watch what else Sharpton said about their meeting here.

Meanwhile, news of the secretly recorded tapes is apparently not sitting well with Trump. CNN reports:

“(Rudy) Giuliani said Trump had no idea he was being recorded during the McDougal discussion, which took place in the then-candidate’s office at Trump Tower in September 2016. When informed about the recording, Trump said, ‘I can’t believe Michael would do this to me,’ a source familiar with the tapes told CNN.”
