Attorney General Jeff Sessions says the bomb deliveries appear to be “partisan” and it certainly seems that way when you comb through Cesar Sayoc’s past. The Aventura, Florida man, who faces 5 federal charges has a history of Trump loving, democrat hating material in his past. CNN even uncovered video of Sayoc at a Trump rally last year, wearing a MAGA hat and holding a “CNN sucks” sign.

The 56-year-old also had “CNN sucks” signs and pro-Trump signs on his van.

The Twitter account registered to Sayoc was almost 100% political, filled with typos and included hateful tweets against George Soros, Florida Gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, Parkland activist David Hogg, and others. News & Guts viewed several tweets before the account was suspended late Friday afternoon. One conspiracy, lie-filled tweet read, “David Hoggs fake phony big gets con job never attended Parkland High School. He graduated 2015 from Redondo Bch High School. He is a paid George Soros fraud.” And another post showed Sayoc at a Trump rally and said “Happy birthday tge great President Ever Trump Trump Trump”

The Washington Post also reports that Sayoc has a criminal past:

Sayoc, who was previously known to law enforcement officials, has been arrested nearly a dozen times in Florida, including a 2002 arrest for making a bomb threat. His criminal record in the state extends to the early 1990s, starting with his arrest for larceny at the age of 29, according to state records. Other charges of larceny, grand theft and fraud would soon follow across the southern part of the state.

In the 2002 bomb threat case, Sayoc pleaded guilty to the felony without a trial and was sentenced to probation, the records show.

According to Miami-Dade County jail booking records, Sayoc called Florida Power and Light and threatened to blow up the local electric utility. Sayoc said “it would be worse than Sept. 11″ and also threatened something would happen to the FPL representative he was talking to if the utility cut his electricity.

If convicted Sayoc faces up to 58 years behind bars.
