Postmaster General Could Face Jail Time in Election Dispute With Federal Judge: Just one day after the election, on November 4th there were questions about whether U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan would hold Louis DeJoy, the Trump administration appointee heading the U.S. Postal Service, in contempt. This came after DeJoy refused to follow Sullivan’s order for the USPS to conduct special searches for hundreds of thousands of missing mail-in ballots.
